Rahul gandhi to leave for US, slated to lecture at Berkeley


New Delhi

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi will undertake a two-week long tour of the US.

“Looking forward to addressing students @UCBerkeley & interacting w/Indian Overseas Congress members w/@sampitroda during my visit to the US,” Mr Gandhi said in a tweet.

According to Congress party sources, the party leader and Amethi MP will interact with students of University of California at Berkeley on September 12.

During his stay, he will also take part in a series of events organised by Overseas Congress, and meet students, NRIs, global thinkers and corporate honchos.

“Mr Gandhi will offer his reflections on contemporary India and the path forward for the world’s largest democracy.
