Popcorn Infotech to open 1000 centres for help in GST

GST 2In order to address the GST related needs of taxpayers, the Popcorn Infotech Pvt. ltd. has launched its product Taxware and its services through suvidha kendras across the country. By this month-end, it proposes to open about 1000 such centres while in next few months another few months, their number may cross 10000. While the corporate are integrating the solution with ERP systems, tax consultants and CAs too would benefit from the software by providing their services to their clients and enable them to be compliant to statutory requirements of the GST Act and its implementation.

Its managing director, Suchit Saraf, told media persons here about Rs 15000 annually would be charged from a GST tax payer for various services under the GST provision. He explained Rs 300 would be charged a month for filing tax returns, adding these centres would assist in GST return filing and book keeping through various means such as invoice scanning, barcoding and tab facilility to name a few.

He claimed with this new service and opening of suvidha kendras, about one lakh people will get employment at various levels. In fact, these Kendras will be like one stop solution for all tax payers as it would provide various facilities such as getting GST registration, book-keeping, digital signature and return filing, he added.

With over 600 plus pan India distribution network of its software, the company plans to touch every business house irrespective of its size.
