Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit to Bangladesh beginning 6th of next month. The visit is Prime Minister’s first to Bangladesh and it reflects the importance attached by India to the bilateral relationship. External Affairs Ministry in its release said, the visit is expected to further expand the cordial and cooperative relationship between the two countries and strengthen the ties of friendship and trust between India and Bangladesh.
During the tour, Prime Minister will hold discussions with his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina. The Prime Minister’s programme will also include a call on the President of Bangladesh Md. Abdul Hamid.
