Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured Surya Kumar Bose, the grand nephew of Netaji Subhash Chandara Bose, to look into the media reports that Nehru government spied on Netaji’s family members during 1948 to 1968. This was disclosed by Mr.Surya Kumar Bose after meeting Prime Minister in Berlin yesterday.
Mr.Bose told media that Netaji belongedto the entire country and it was not for his direct family to raise the issue de-clasification of Netaji’s files in the wake of snooping controversy.
Mr.Surya Bose said the government should come out with truth and stop spreading lies about Netaji. He alleged that Indian government threatened to deny visa to the scholars of the top German Indologists if they had Netaji in their syllabus.
Replying to a question, he expressed his complete dissatisfaction on the findings of the various commissions set by the various governments.
