NITI Aayog and IDFC to jointly conduct survey of manufacturing companies

The National Institute for Transforming India (NITI) Aayog and IDFC Institute will jointly conduct a survey of manufacturing companies, including startups, across the country as part of ease of doing business.

The survey will bring out a comprehensive analysis and report on State-level performance. In a statement the NITI Aayog said, the objective of the survey is to assess the business regulatory environment in each State and Union Territory .It also seeks to identify policy and regulatory hurdles faced by businesses in the States.

The survey will complement the government’s Make in India initiative by taking stock of issues faced and providing impetus for state-level reforms that will make it easier to do business in India, while fostering competitive and cooperative federalism.
