LoC trade with Pak stopped in Poonch following ceasefire violation

india-pak-tradeThe Cross LoC trade between India and Pakistan via Chakkan-da-Bagh in Poonch has been suspended in view of the recent ceasefire violations by Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir.

Official sources said, the trade will remain suspended till Friday, and it may be restored if the situation improves. Pakistani forces had targeted the Trade Centre complex in Poonch during shelling on Sunday and Monday.

The weekly bus service between the two countries also remains suspended.
