Justice Loya death must be probed at highest level: Rahul Gandhi

Expressing deep concern over resentment in judiciary Congress president Rahul Gandhi today said that Justice Loya death must be probed at high level.

“The points raised by the four Judges are extremely important … They have mentioned threat to the democracy and I think this should be looked into,” Congress President Rahul Gandhi told an impromptu press conference here.

He said all citizens who “love the idea of justice” are looking at this issue and therefore this needs to be addressed. The Congress President said the death of special CBI judge BH Loya should be looked into by the highest level of the Supreme Court.

Making a brief statement over the press conference of four supreme court judges congress party in a statement Rahul said: “Congress Party earnestly appeals that the Full Court of the Supreme Court should take up the issues raised by the four Honourable Judges and find solutions that are consistent with the traditions and conventions of the Judiciary”.
