JEE (Main) examination results have been announced. Fifteen candidates have scored 100 percentile of the total examinees who appeared in B.E/ B.Tech Paper-I held this month.

This was the first time the National Testing Agency, NTA, conducted the examination in place of CBSE. More than eight lakh 74 thousand candidates had appeared in the Paper-I examination from 9th to 12th of this month.

Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar said the National Testing Agency declared the JEE (Main) results in record time, 12 days ahead of schedule. He said this was made possible due to use of advanced technology and tireless teamwork of NTA team.

The candidates who have not qualified this time have another chance in April to re-appear for the examination. The JEE (Main) examination will be conducted between 6th and 20th April. The application forms will be available from 8th February 2019.
