Indian satellite technology at par with world standards: ISRO’s Director

Noted scientist and Director of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)’s Space Applications Centre of Ahmedabad, Tapan Mishra has said, the Indian satellite technology is at par with world standards.

He was delivering the 34th annual seminar and 18th Dr Triguna Sen Memorial lecture on Indian Space Research and Relevant Achievements in New Delhi.

Mr Mishra said, the international community has confidence in India’s indigenous technology which reduces the cost of the satellite launch.

He said, ISRO has proved that every high technology is achievable, and can be developed by Indian scientists.
