Female birth rate declines in urban areas

NEW DELHI (AMN):  India’s Annual Health Survey has revealed that urban areas are recording a decline in female birth rate.  Releasing the Annual Health Survey results of nine states here, Health Secretary K. Chandramouli said The Sex ratio at birth and in all ages in rural areas is better than in urban areas.

Tribals in MP to enjoy community radio

BHOPAL (MP)- The Madhya Pradesh government has decided to set up 110 community radio stations in all the tribal blocks of the state. Of these nine stations to-be-launched are meant for areas predominantly inhabited by Baiga, Korku, Saharia, Gond and Bharia tribal communities.
