NEW DELHI: Brushing aside opposition from NDA, left and its estranged ally-TMC, the Congress led UPA  government today operationalised its earlier decision to allow 51%  FDI in Multi Brand Retail with conditionality. Now the multinational retailers can open their shops in any part of the country provided they get permission from concerned state.
