Mallikarjun Kharge appointed as AICC General Secretary, in-charge of Maharashtra

The Congress party today appointed senior leader Mallikarjun Kharge as All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary, in-charge of Maharashtra. Former Union Minister Kharge will be replacing the current in-charge Mohan Prakash. Kharge is former MP from Gulbarga in Karnataka. The party has appointed three more AICC secretaries- Sonal Patel, Ashish Dua and Sampath Kumar.
