Hong Kong badminton super series, Indian Shuttlers to play eight matches

Indian Shuttlers will play eight matches in different events at the Hong Kong Super Series at Kowlong, today. In the Women’s singles, Olympic silver medalist P V Sindhu will clash with Leung Yuet Yee of Hong Kong while Saina Nehwal opens her campaign against Denmark’s Mette Poulsen.

In the Men’s Singles, World No.10 H.S. Prannoy will face experienced Hong Kong’s Hu Yun in the opening round. Parupalli Kashyap will clash with Lee Dong Keun of Korea whereas Sai Praneeth will meet Son Wan Ho of Korea.
In the Women’s Doubles, India’s duo of Ashwani and Reddy N. Sikki will face Chinese pair of Huang Dongping and Li Wenmei.
In the Men’s Doubles, the pair of Manu Attri and Reddy B. Sumeeth will clash with the Malaysian-Korean pair of Khim Wah Lim and Yoo Yeon Seong in their opening match.
