Heritage School Kolkata celebrates Republic day with much fanfare

The Heritage School Kolkata organized the winter carnival “Kolahaal 2017” on Republic Day. “Kolahaal 2017” comprised of various activities to nurture the innovative minds of the students in the School. The programme consisted of an Art Exhibition organized by the students and was inaugurated by Mr. Bratin Khan, the eminent painter and Mr. Anup Ray, former Director, ABP Group and also an eminent cartoonist, designer and a visual illustrator as the Chief Guests for the programme.

Kolahaal had lots of activities to nurture the young minds like art & craft, outdoor games, food plaza and many more. The parents of the school were actively involved in the programme in making different food recipes and many other activities to encourage each and every student. “To encourage the young minds towards nation building, this winter carnival acts as a catalyst in the overall development of the students,” said Ms. Seema Sapru, Principal, The Heritage School.

The programme was also attended by Shri Jaydeep Chitlangia, Chairman, School Managing Committee, The Heritage School, Mr. Probir, Roy, Director, KBT, Prof. B.B.Paira, Advisor, KBT and Shri Pradip Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions Kolkata. “We have been organizing such event since the inception and this event is a unique one in this part of the city,” said Mr. Pradip Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions, Kolkata. More than 2000 students, well wishers and parents attended this gala winter carnival. The event formed a part of the celebrations of the 68th Republic Day of our nation.
