Haryana to purchase 600 new buses

Haryana Government has decided to purchase 600 new buses there-by increasing their number in the fleet of Haryana Roadways to 4600. Giving this information, Transport Minister, Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma said that 76 water coolers and 119 Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems will also stalled at various depots of Haryana Roadways in the state to facilitate the passengers. Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal has given approval for these projects. He said that BS emission norms are taken care of as these help in bringing down pollution level. The Minister said that the department has set a target to increase the number of buses to 5000 by the end of 2015-16.
