Grocery shop fire claims 4 lives in Gujarat


Four members of a family, including an infant and his parents, were killed when a fire broke out in a grocery store in Naranapura area of the city on Tuesday morning, police said.

The deceased were identified as store owner Sunil Chaudhary (36), his wife Leela (31), brother Mohan (30) and son Arjun (2).

The incident occurred when the provision store in Vardan Tower of the locality, caught fire and the blaze later spread to the house. Sunil’s home housed the grocery store.
