Former Nepal PM terms recent elections as a milestone

PARCHANDA NEPALFormer Prime Minister of Nepal and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has said that recently concluded election is a historical milestone to political stability, good governance and development of the country.

Addressing a rally organised by the winning candidates of left alliance at Kathmandu today he said that election is an important step to institutionalize the achievements of long struggle and sacrifices.

Mr. Prachanda said that landslide victory of left alliance is the result of fusion between CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Center).

He said that now both parties have to be serious and responsible and to work hard for stability,development and prosperity of Nepal.

In his address CPN (UML) leader and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal said that everybody has to unite and move forward for the development of the country.

He said that left alliance will take all parties including opposition in confidence in the great historical journey of nation building.
