A heavy dust storm with a wind speed of 98 kilometres per hour accompanied by squall hit Delhi-NCR during the wee hours today.

It uprooted trees and caused power outages at several parts. The storm comes after a deadly thunderstorm claimed over 80 lives across five states on Sunday.
