In Cricket, India will resume their first innings at the overnight score of 360 for 6 against Australia on Day 4 of the Ranchi Test today.
At the close of play yesterday, Cheteshwar Pujara on 130 and Wriddhiman Saha on 18 were at the crease, with the hosts still trailing by 91 runs in the first innings. Australia had made 451 after opting to bat.
Yesterday, India resumed play at 120 for 1, with Pujara and Murali Vijay in the middle. Vijay scored 82, while skipper Virat Kohli, who came at unusual number 4th position, was out for 6.
Pujara batted throughout the day and scored his 11th Test ton to help India cut short Australia’s lead. Paceman Pat Cummins bagged 4 wickets.
This is the third Test of the 4-match series. The series is tied, 1-1.
