DAIC and JNU sign MoU to facilitate & enhance research activities


Dr. Ambedkar International Centre and Jawaharlal Nehru University today signed an MoU to facilitate and enhance research activities and policy formulation aimed at Socio-economic Transformation and Sustainable Development.

The MoU was signed at a function in New Delhi in the presence of Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thaawarchand Gehlot.

Later, Mr Gehlot said the major thrust areas under the MoU are aimed at research and related activity on all areas related to socio-economic transformation.

He said the University and the Ambedkar International Centre will jointly conduct studies on Dr. Ambedkar, studies on peace, progress and transformational aspects of Buddhism and sustainable development and livelihood.

The MoU was signed by Prof. M Jagadesh Kumar, Vice Chancellor of JNU and Atul Dev Sarmah, Director of Ambedkar International Centre.
