Cong protest against sealing in Delhi

Vinit Wahi / New Delhi

A mahapanchayat of Delhi villages is taking place on September 23 to prepare for a strong protest against the “illegal sealing” in Mahipalpur area of south Delhi as lakhs of people are being deprived of their livelihood because of on-going sealing.

The convener of Delhi Pradesh Congress Nyay Yudh against the sealing and ex-MLA Mr Mukesh Sharma, warned at a news conference here Monday that if all seven BJP MPs from Delhi fail to persuade the Centre to bring an ordinance to end this illegal sealing, they should then resign from Parliament and the BJP and endorse Delhi Congress’ Nyay Yudh.

Along with former MLA, Vijay lochav and party leader Jag Parvesh Kumar, he said due to collusion of BJP and AAP, Delhi villages have come under the illegal sealing grip.

The trio said the Delhi government should change the definition of household industries and areas with over 70 per cent industries should be declared as industrial areas or else the CM Arvind Kejriwal should resign.

Mr Mukesh Sharma also ridiculed the Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari for making fun of lakhs of Delhiites affected by the illegal sealing by breaking the lock of a dairy in east Delhi’s Gokulpuri area. He should rather apologise to Delhiites, he demanded.
