Budget Session of parliament to begin on Jan 29

Budget Session of parliament will commence on January 29. Economic Survey will be tabled same day after the address of president Ramnath Kovind. Budget will be presented on February 1. According to minister of parliamentary affairs Ananat Kumar, the first part of the session will continue till February 9 and the second part of the session will begin on March 05 and will continue till April 06.

Terming the winter session a successful one, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar on Friday said the Lok Sabha passed 13 Bills, while 9 Bills were passed by the Rajya Sabha during this session.

Talking to media persons here after conclusion of Winter Session, Mr Kumar said, ”It was a successful
session. The Lok Sabha passed 13 Bills while 9 Bills were passed by the Rajya Sabha.
He said the productivity of Lok Sabha was 91.58 per cent and that of the Rajya Sabha was 56.
