BJP today demanded resignation of Delhi Law Minister Jitendra Singh Tomar following the reports that a Bihar-based university has informed the Delhi High court that his law degree is fake.

Party spokesperson Meenakshi Lekhi said that this is a very serious matter, especially when it involves the Law Minister himself. She said that his position is untenable. She said that the incident has shown the real face of Aam Aadmi Party which talks about the morality and change in politics.

Congress has demanded immediate dismissal of Delhi Law Minister Jitender Singh Tomar after a Bihar based university yesterday informed the Delhi high court that it has no record of Mr Tomar completing his law degree from there.

Speaking to media, Delhi Congress Chief Ajay Maken said, it is surprising to know that how the minister is still at his post even after pointing it out to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. He said, Congress will hold a demonstration outside Delhi Secretariat on Thursday if Mr Kejriwal will not remove the Minister from his post.
