Bharatiaya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah today exhorted partymen to stand united and recapture power in the Karnataka.
Addressing the party workers at Jaganath Bhavan–the party State headquarters here, after a tumultuous reception on arrival, he said that everyone should work unitedly under the leadership of B S Yeddyurappa, who was declared as Chief Ministerial candidate.
He declared thereby that the Party would not allow a second power centre to evolve in the State by stating that the party would not hesitate to initiate stringent action against those who give room for rebel activities.
Mr Shah said that the unity in the party is utmost important as the time has come to make the State ‘Congress Mukth Karnataka’.
Congress has no right to retain power as corruption has become rampant in the state during its rule.
