6- day ASEAN- India Film Festival opens in New Delhi



Rajyavardhan RathoreInformation and Broadcasting Minister Col Rajyavardhan Rathore today inaugurated the ASEAN India Film Festival at Siri Fort Auditorium in New Delhi.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Rathore said, around 32 films from 11 countries will be screened during the six-day film festival.

He said, cinema is the most powerful mass media method of communication and it breaks the barriers and boundaries. The Minister said ASEAN countries have lots of common factors in terms of Art and culture.

The ASEAN film festival is a platform for people of the film industry of member countries to explore areas of cooperation in the domain of cinema and cultural cooperation.
