Government will hold five Aadhaar regularisation camps for pensioners in the National Capital Region in collaboration with Punjab National Bank from 13th to 17th of this month. An official release from the Department of Pension and Pensioner’s Welfare says, the camps will be held at Rajendra Place, Civil Lines, Scope Tower, Lakshmi Nagar, Noida Sector 1 and Neelam Chowk, Faridabad.
It said, pensioners have to visit an Aadhaar camp on any one of the days with original Pension Payment Order (PPO), Aadhaar card, and bank pass book along with photocopies of these documents. These days many service providers like banks are using Aadhar as KYC detail for opening new accounts.
