AMN

HasinaBangladesh Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali has said, 33 MoUs are likely to be signed during Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s forthcoming visit to New Delhi and the absence of Teesta river water sharing agreement does not matter.

Ms Hasina will be on a 4-day visit to India from Friday. Mr Mahmood told reporters that Ms Hasina’s visit is aimed at expanding bilateral trade, boosting investment, connectivity and sub-regional assistance.

Construction of Padma and Ganges barrages, distribution of common river water, border management and fighting cross-border drugs and human trafficking are also among the issues likely to be discussed.
